Are none of you familiar with the approximately 3-mph "correction" programmed into BMW speedometers? It can be coded out/deactivated fairly easily - see the DIY and Coding section of this forum. I've done that for both of my BMWs and the cruise marker now matches the speedometer readout. You can also add a digital speed readout into the area below the gauges where you can rotate through time/date, outside temperature, average speed, etc.

It must be misaligned but, imho, so what? I also have the HUD and with the HUD in my windshield, I never look down at the speedo so it doesn't matter to me if it is misaligned. The HUD tells me what I need to know.
