As for the ride quality.... It's how these cars should have came from the factory! Body roll has decreased significantly and taking corners and turns is super tight! It's just as comfortable as my stock springs if not better. It just feels more refined and the EDC handles it very well! Once it settles I can update with exact drop specs but the back dropped about a quarter inch and the front should be an inch. Compared to my buddies car with the h&r sports I would choose Swift all day.
How's the tire to strut clearance? I got the fronts installed and it looks close. Might have popped the ball socket out of one sway bar end links.

Did you have any sort of weird noises like clunks I'm either the rear or front suspension?

I have a 340I RWD lowered on these Swift-R springs (probably the same ones cause they fit both 340 and 335s) and no random noises. They do lower the car a significant amount so expect bottoming out on potholes. Im also running 15mm spacers all around on 18in staggered wheels

That users final offset in the front was et20 (15mm spacers). I think he was rwd but it shouldn’t matter and long as you use camber plates. Iirc he was on kw coils. It is hard to speak in absolutes because there are only a couple posts on his setup.

I have camber plates and b8s, just have to get different springs so it is a bit different. But I have 19x9 et24 so once my spring setup is together and in I’ll have a better idea about clearances. I may have a few mm more inside because I won’t have locking collars there. I should give me a good idea if I can replicate the setup on xdrive though

Posting this up here as well in case anyone is seaching the Swift Sport springs on an xDrive...

Finally got mine installed, 2016 340i xDrive w/ adaptive suspension:

As I said earlier in this thread, I was worried about the front dropping too much due to the extra weight over the front axle.

I designed and machined a set of 3/8" spacers to sit under the front spring perch to help with the front dropping too much. The added weight of the xDrive calculates out to about 9mm of extra drop in the front based on the wheel rates (that's BEYOND what it drops on a RWD).

I also installed Millway camber plates (street) at the same time, so the spacers gets bolted between the lower spring pillar and the mount plate (blue parts in the solidworks model):

Doing it this way does 2 things:
  • Spaces the surface on the camber plate that the bump stop rides on down 3/8 inch so the bump stop rides in the same reference plane as the top of the spring.
  • Allows for an additional 10mm of damper travel over putting the spacer between the camber plate and chassis

These are paired with F80 bump stops front and rear per the recommendations in Farkle's posts. Definitely the right call.

I'm actually really surprised at how good the ride is in comfort. Sport+ is stiff and feels like it's pretty close to critically damped (stock is VERY overdamped). I'm looking into how to make the EDC adjustable, but I need to do some logging first and I don't know if the acceleration sensors are an analog voltage output or if they use PSI5 communication like all the Bosch automotive accelerometers seem to do (I'd really rather not build the additional hardware if I dont' have to).

I may pull the spacers next spring to see how it looks, but I'm happy with where it sits right now. If I do, I will likely add a spacer to where the strut shaft bolts to the camber plate to move that point upward relative to the chassis so I don't sacrifice any more damper travel than I have to...
