Glacier Silver F30 335i Detailed and Opti Guard Photos

Here is the link to the photos and write up that my Detailer did. LINK

His name is Rich from Flawless Reflections and he did a fantastic job. After reading about Opti Coat and Opti Guard here and other forums I did some research and found Flawless Reflections was located in LaSalle one town over from Windsor.

Rich did a fantastic job and the car looks spectacular at all times regardless of the weather and stands out wherever I go as being unnaturally clean and silver.
Comments and questions welcome here and in the detailing thread.

So you said the guy put Opti-guard on the car? What's the difference between that and Opti-coat?

That is nice! Awesome and great looking car!

It's funny how he keeps mentioning about the other F30 (your sisters car) coming in this weekend...LOL

Overall, very good job. Enjoy the beast in good health iA!

I believe Opti Guard is the original product used by professional detailers and Opti coat is a product the company released for the public to use that is easier to apply.

Opti-Coat (Opti-Guard) is a hard wearing, aftermarket, ceramic clear coat for superior resistance to scratching (9H) and chemical etching from environmental impacts. It provides permanent protection for all factory paints, and can also be applied to exterior glass, metal and hard plastic surfaces.

So it sounds like it's one in the same.

Nice job.. I'm thinking of doing the same too. Could you give me a rough idea on how much it all costs?

I understand that it varies depending on the vehicle colour and condition (mine was silver which is easier than Black and relatively new). I paid almost $400 for the Opti-Guard product and his time to clean/polish the car/windows/rims and then apply it.
