Hey all,

I'm in the market to get my F30 tinted after I renew my medical permit () and I'm looking for a shop in central NJ to get a set of ceramic tints on all 5 windows.

On all my previous cars I've gone to shops in SI and south Jersey but the quality has been iffy. All $99 jobs.

If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated. I'm in Monmouth county so that'd be a plus. Last quote I got in this area was around $250 ish.

Check Shades of Gray just north of Philly. Had my E90 done there when I lived in Center City. Live in S. Jersey now and I drove up there to get my F30 done too when I traded in the E90. Good guys. Look at their Instagram, they do plenty of high performance cars. Had a new Vette and M4 in there last time I was there.
Takes maybe an hour to 90 minutes. No issues with either car and they offer lifetime warranty. $270 or so for my E90 years ago so don’t remember exactly but was $230 for 4 windows and rear for my F30.

EDIT: may be kind of a drive for you but they’re quality.

"It is $200 (not including the front windshield or sunroof) and as long as there is no tint or glue from old tint.We book 1 day in advance during the week and 1 week for a Saturday.Takes about 90 minutes.We use Llumar ATR series film which provides 99% UV(stops interior from fading and cracking),energy/heat rejection(cooler interior),and has a lifetime warranty.

The 200 dollar job isn't ceramic film... sorry to step on your toes but i got a shit ton of quotes from different shops trying to figure out which is the best

OP: what film was the 250? every-time i got a quote around there it wasn't ceramic film

I've reached out to a couple of the shops listed above and so far only heard back from one in Freehold, NJ.

$250 non-ceramic
$350 ceramic

If your willing to come to the NYC area WC Tint shop in Staten Island is awesome. I got mine done there for $150. Quality of the film and work is top notch and they always have some really high-end cars there. Also comes with a lifetime warranty.
