Any pictures of M performance exhaust with Carbon Fiber tips?

Hi all!

So it's almost the one year mark of my F30 335i. I want to get the MPPK for sure as well as the MPE. Just wanted to see pictures of the carbon fiber MPE finishers. I'll probably stick with chrome though.

Thanks,

Sam R.

The only way I'd put those over the chrome MPE tips is if they ever release a CF version of the M-Performance rear diffuser.

Aren't those a $450 mod you put over the chrome finish MPE. I thought OP was looking for the CF MPE, not an add on?

Garage List
Don't see the point of CF @ $460. About the only time you could tell they are CF is in a parking lot.

Agreed, on the extra $460, but my car is a lease and I want the most stylish offerings I can get without getting bitched at by the dealer. I had to exercise much self control not to buy an Akrapovic exhaust system. That thing sounds money.

M Performance exhaust with carbon fiber tips

Check it,

The tips definitely were not worth the extra 500. It looks mean(er) though.
Definitely need some kind of different diffuser now, I don't like that BMW decided to put reflectors in the diffuser.
It needs to break in too, it sounds only slightly different than stock and I only notice it at higher RPM's. Feels a little better though so that is a plus.

I am not all that bummed with it. I always go back and forth with having a loud car, It sounds a little more throaty, but the change is subtle. The F30's are a lot more insulated sound wise

Yeah you can definitely hear a difference, so that's good! It's just the more subtle MPE

I'm sure that would look sweet. I would drop the hammer on an Arkym rear diffuser in a second, but $1100 is kind of crazy. The exhaust note change is very subtle with MPE, it's nice though if you only want your car to be slightly louder. I just added the Jb4 stage 2 and it really brings the car to life.

Not sure if this makes any difference to you guys, but I just found out (through clarification from Tischer BMW) that the Carbon Fiber tips include the Metal Tip + Carbon Fiber sleeves over it. It's one unit.

Because it includes the Chrome Tips, you don't have to buy the Chrome Tips (which cost $170). So to upgrade to the Carbon Fiber Tips it'll cost closer to $290 (since you would need to buy the Chrome Tips anyways).

Of course this money savings only applies if you don't already have the MPE.
