Bay Area shops
I need to remove my catless downpipe and put the factory one back on. Anyone have any recommendations? Need someone reasonably priced with experience on German cars since most places hate BMWs.
Thanks! |

anymore shops around the bay? This one seems very specialized.
I see one called Auto sound performance around Daly City. Anyone else have experience with another shop in the area? |

Most muffler shops around here work strictly on mufflers only, not the exhaust system.
And if anyone cares, Alekshop gave me a quote 3 times the price of The One Auto. Needless to say, they're out of the question. |

No, I don't think it was lost in translation. I literally repeated it 2 times then asked for the price of coils.
Told me the price in pairs (Front + Back) = Total 1100, I still have the invoice of the quote. I was shocked and just left. |

Are they out of their minds? Most shops would install it for $160 or $40 per if you buy the springs from them. That's the going rate here in LA i don't know about the bay but it shouldn't be that big of a difference.

I kid you not lol...I have the invoice somewhere in the house. Seemed like good guys but at that price, I am not sure how they have a lot of customers.
