Adding Satellite Radio
I've seen this discussed a bit already but haven't seen a definitive answer. Even though you can't order the car with satellite radio as a standalone option, is it possible to have it added when it comes in to port or at the dealer? If so, any idea on cost? I'm ordering an F30 on Friday and don't plan on getting the Premium Package but would really like to add satellite radio seperately. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I've seen on the coding forums that there is a dealer retrofit available from BMW. Ask you SA.
I think every F30 in the US is built with Satellite Preparation; so they should just need to add the FSC code. You can check to see if you have Satellite Preparation by going to www.bmwvin.com. You just need to enter in the last 7 characters of your VIN. |
