This is turning out to be an awesome thread for MD/VA/DC folks.
I'm planning on ordering soon as well. I was thinking of waiting til July but I guess I should just go ahead and order. My Drive For Team USA event is coming up at BMW of Silver Spring this thursday. I will start talking to the CA there during the event. Quote:
I'll try to get some contacts of good CAs in other dealers as well. I asked BMW of Annapolis and they told me that ED and the College Grad discount program can be used together. I did NOT ask about the drive for team USA discount as many others on this forum have specifically mentioned that this discount cannot be used in conjunction with ED. BMW of Rockville has been very bad to me. They used to be called VOB BMW because historically they used to sell VWs and the dealer was located in Bethesda (hence, VW of Bethesda = VOB). They recently changed ownership about 2 months ago and officially changed their name to BMW of Rockville. Unfortunately, it seems like some of the past CAs stayed. Something about BMW of Rockville that if you don't go in to the dealership looking like you're worth a gazillion dollars, they don't even look at you and when you ask a CA for some help, they treat you like dirt unless you're going to pay upfront royalties in straight cash to them immediately. I could be wrong but I've already dealt with 2 different CAs there who kept telling me that they work mostly with people who buy 7-series and AlPINAs and never even smiled at me after I said I wanted to buy a 3-series. The maintenance service at BMW of Silver Spring has been incredible and the parts department with getBMWparts.com is located there and have also been very very awesome. |

I'm not sure what the general consensus is but I know many people have stated that you CANNOT combine ED with Team USA. However, you CAN combine ED with college discount from what BMW of Annapolis told me.

I was told neither was eligible for ED orders. The fine print from the bulletin:
Eligible Vehicles: • All MY12 and MY13 vehicles are eligible. • Program Cars (BMW NA Company, Sales Demos, Specialty Demos, and Retired Service Loaners, Shuttle or Mobility Assistance Vehicles) are eligible upon consumer retail. Ineligible Vehicles: • Any vehicles older than MY12 are not eligible. • Diplomat, Military, and European Delivery Vehicles are not eligible. • BMW College Graduate Incentive cannot be used in conjunction with Center Employee Lease. • EPP vehicles do not qualify for the $1,000 College Graduate Incentive.

In February I ordered my 2013 F30 335i M-Sport EB2 Black leatherette w/ Heated front seats, Parking assistant, Driver assistance package and Tech package for European Delivery. I received ED pricing + $500 and my price came out to $47,240 before taxes ($51,780 after taxes, doc fees, registration etc.) I'll aslo be receiving -$1000 for BMW Financial Services...making my total $50,780. So technically I got my car for $500 under ED price and whatever that figure is below US invoice. What do you guys think about that price? I mean ED pricing is pretty straightforward, it's how much over (or under if lucky) you can get the CA to bite.
