I did read somewhere that there's an additional dial you can add to the sports display though.

I also tried to do the TPMS readout on the car information, but that doesn't appear to work for me :|
M-Sport/Sport model cars will have Sports Config & Sports display Default. Some of the older cars or those on the Entry Nav. will need to code this to display these features.

The Digital speed is tiny & difficult to read sometimes.

TPMS won't work unless the car is equipped with individual Tyre Pressure gauges which I haven't come across over the course of 12 cars.

We don't get TPMS, only the rotational type of sensors.

You need more than the sensors as well. AFAIK there is also some hardware required.

The digital speedo is a waste of time, unless of course you happen to have the full electric one like in the F10.

For ASD, We ended up with N55B30 for members with N20 engines & off for some who had custom exhausts on.
Ahh I see!

Awesome - thanks for the clarity

You're right, I think it also requires a control module as well.

I only wish I had the F10 digital speedo I want it !

aahhh i see (said the blind man).

I might go reverse that code then (to satisfy my mild OCD )

Once thing I tried to do was... when i went to edit SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX and MIN, it says to change the werte value to FF.

When I went to edit it, it didn't seem to let me edit it? Have you seen this before? I sorta stopped coding after that.

I also have to code Office onto mine because of it's country of origin apparently?!!?

Notes from cheat sheet:
Modify the read FA: Remove Country Controller code (SL8Ax) from vehicle FA
VO Code - CMB_MEDIA and HU_NBT

Did you have to do this on anyones? I suspect all sedans have it by default, but my poor little F31 missed out

Yep it was one of the first mistakes I encountered when I first started, Apparently when you configure values you need to click on the 'Yellow Arrow' to update the value in the Werte, then click save & return to Code FDL. Changes value from 00 (0 km) to FF (255 km)

Hmm haven't come across the Office for any of the others, thought it was default.

I think it's the following but not 100% maybe HFW003 might know
Expert Mode -> Coding -> Read FA -> Calculate FP -> SALAPA-element -> Delete SL8Ax -> Calculate FP again -> Save new FA -> Expert Mode -> VCM -> Load saved FA file -> Calculate FP again -> VCM Master -> Write FA FP -> Read FA FP VIN

As Jeff says when you are changing actual values, like when you code the mirrors to fold on locking, rather than just the werte value you do need to update the value prior to saving.

I've never had to add Office in but what Jeff has there looks correct.

With saying that I have say that the Office function is almost a waste of money. It really is just about useless, this is with an iPhone anyway.

Just have a go and see what happens.

OK, this may be a silly question but what does the start/stop memory do?

Also, is there anything additional you can configure in the HUD?

I believe it disables the Auto stop/start without having to press the button everytime you start your car.

Oh, cool. So is the aircon memory similar then and it stays off when you turn it off?

Hosted 2-3 consecutive sessions over the last 2 weeks. Maybe on the 25th of Sunday if few others would be interested or missed out on the last event.
Ahhh cool I have a m235i and my mate with a m135i. We'd both be interested!

Also my flatmate has a 1M but I'm guessing it's a different coding system

Technically yes, however after testing it on several cars eg. M235i, M135i, 228i & 328i the engine note sounded worse maybe with an Amp + Subwoofer it would sound better.

We came to a conclusion after testing several engine F30 + N55B30 sounded the best on ASD.
What about the volume of ASD, can you change that. I actually like the sound in my 428, it's just too quiet

I'll see you & your mate there.

Yeah, the 1M uses a different system unfortunately.

Yes, it's possible to change the volume of the ASD by changing the engine to N55B30 the one for the 435/335 it increases the volume of the engine. If you have aftermarket subs this will amplify the sound as well.
