Individual Leather: Really beautiful. The best option?

Saw a few F30s with Individual Leather today. What a difference from the Dakota hippo hide. It really lifts up the interior hugely and produces that wow factor. For me, at least, a MUST HAVE option. Oh, how I wish I'd ordered it.

Yeah, it is quite nice

I love the feel of mine and even after 6 months the leather is still looking amazing I'm even impressed by how clean it stays, I thought beige would be a nightmare but it seems to be holding up well

Ok dear chap. Don't rub it in! Seriously, it is quite beautiful. I especially love the leather on the doors. So much detail. Worth every penny. Takes the inside from Premium to Luxury.

I think it was just over £1200 but it's been a while so don't quote me

I like the leather, not the styling. If they asked say £400 extra to have the same stitch pattern but in Merino, then yes. Piping and cross hatch? It's a BMW not a Rover

Sorry, must disagree. It is truly beautiful and worth it IMO.

If only it came in Coral Red, then I'd be a sucker!

You are such a beatch! Hated that car or nearly any car made in the UK. Now play nice dear chap!

BTW, I like a good cross stitch. Reminds me of my granndmother who, by the way, was a Dame of the British Empire. Grand pops a Lord and then a Baron! So there!

Unfortunately, I am very poor.

Looks quite nice - fortunately I actually prefer this simpler look of the Dakota - in fact the black Dakota leather sports seats were a massive selling point for me. One option that would have been nice to have then, but not one I am agonising over missing unlike certain other options.

@F30AM

Couldn't find a suitable thread so thought this would do...

Looks like BMW can get standard leather seats right from the off (when they want to)

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=856851

take a look at this guys seats in the one series... perfect...unlike yours when you had it new.

@dopper99: Mine are 100% perfect now. In fact, there is not a single ripple on them. And I even got a 50% refund for the cost of de-bagging.

Will almost certainly opting for this, but not sure about colour. Exterior will be mineral grey so either black or one of the browns.

So anyone got some pics of the different individual leathers?

I'm looking at this option... probably going with AW external and the black with white individual leather... it was a choice between the sunroof and leather and think the leather will give me the best enjoyment

btw.. the think the cross weave on the black almost looks a little like carbon fiber which at least makes it look a little more sports like.

The individual leather is also extended with black nappa leather... does anyone know what surfaces are covered by the extended part?

Here's some pictures of my individual interior. Leather is black with cream piping. Also has M Performance interior added, carbon fibre and Alcantra additions. Interior now looks as special as the exterior.

That looks very M3ish inside, I love it

How much did the interior carbon and alcantara parts cost my friend, I'd like to do this on a coupe next year maybe, and the individual leather, Nappa is so much nicer than Dakota

Garage List
I was doing ok until I got down to that last picture with the suede dash... at which point I blew my coffee out thru my nose!

As to the BMW Individual Leather, I do prefer the look to the standard leather, but as a £1,200 option on a 3 Series I just couldn't justify the expense. That said, each to their own and if you've got it... enjoy it I say

Probably nice to stroke. But as the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.
