It was not very limited. They even made a few late run Z3 M cp/rdst with that color. It's also not Dakar Yellow. It's Phoenix Yellow. I like it..

I dont mind Phoenix Yellow at all, wouldn't be my first or even fourth choice but it doesn't look bad at all! Haven't seen any objectionable color on the E46 M3 anyway but some combinations just don't work.

Dakar looked sick on Dado's e36. Then again, he had a couple of other goodies as well.

I'd have to give the Power Green color that's offered through BMW Individual the nod for the worst color. It sort reminds me of my dad's old John Deere lawn tractor. That minty color that was offered on the Z3's was pretty bad too.

I like this color. The only problem is that it is too stock. If it had some more Carbon Fibre parts (front lip, rear spoiler or wing, diffuser, vented CF hood painted with exposed CF on the vents etc) and a drop with some kick ass wheels, I think it would look cool. What I am saying, is that, this color doesn't work with a bone stock car. It has to have some serious mods to make it look more badass to go with the Hulk Green paint.
