Thanks man! Appreciate it. They're not too bad, especially considering that they're free.

That being said, if I had my choice, I'd take your setup all day long! I think the finish compliments your exterior very, very nicely.

For real! Wow, the Elbrus wheels are really popular here and rightly so. On a side note, I think I am probably one of the few who have posted these wheels without a M-Sport spec.

To joew12, those wheels are sweet, too bad they were out of my budget but they sure look great.

Finally, to ybbiz34, thank you for the compliment, I am really quite happy with the wheels, and as my lady said, "they're classy with just enough bling," uhh, yeah that was what I was going for... Strangely the wheels are more blue grey metallic than anthracite (or charcoal colored), nevertheless, I'm still happy.

P.S. noticed my front license plate is crooked, I'll have to fix that when I have time...

I really like them but still didn't try it in deep snow, only 3-4 inch.
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 dir. in 235-40r19 (not runflat) are awesome, incredible. No noise, comfortable, and they grip like I don't beleive it in snow.
The only thing is that they are a bit soft so steering response is affected, but for winter it's the compromise...

Hi there all, does anyone know if wheel style 159 will fit on a 2013 328 xdrive?

If anyone was wondering if a 225 55 17 tire will work on a F30 it will, I recently bought a set of 17x8 rial salerno offset 29 all around with Michelin X-ice Xi3's size 225 55 17 from Tirerack, they clear the front strut and there is no rubbing at all, I am very happy with the look and extra ride height of the car for the snow, I will try and post pics sometime this week.

Tirerack says 16's will fit my Msport? Is that right?

I am looking for the cheapest setup basically.

I disagree, ++++ for the roundel, it breaks up the all black nicely...

I was able to re-use my 17 inch style 162 reps from my old E90, just swapped in some new tires, Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 ZP in 225/50/17:

those elbrus rims are by far the best I've seen on the F30, I may have to order an early summer set and the price is amazing!!!

'13 335i M-sport mit alles

Just picked 'er up on 3JAN13! Front plate is held on with velcro, so there's no holes and I can take it off like any other badge. Just made a day trip to Prague and back in the rain, and it's still holding fine! Hopefully by the time I'm back in the states, someone will figure out a way to make a tow hitch plate that doesn't interfere with the parking sensors on the m-sport...

Anyway, on to the wheels: I admit, I was apprehensive at first about the 17s, especially in black, but I went with it anyway because of the winters in Bavaria and the shitty roads in Czech and Austria; (got a ski trip this month to the southern mountains in Austria) I think it turned out ok! The ride on these tires is great; no road noise to speak of on the Autobahn, but on the rougher roads in Czech I noticed some. Cornering is a bit soft, but I tack that up to the compound, I'm sure. They are dedicated snow, so hopefully they do alright in the mountains; roads are bare and wet right now... Unfortunately, my only other experience driving a '13 335i was the demo Luxury line with all seasons. I'm looking forward to the spring when I can get the staggered 19s back on there and hit the Nurburgring!

Nice ride. Hope you had a good time on the slopes! Winter has yet to fully set in here in the East coast (here in the States) for some serious skiing. Hopefully that'll change soon.

Here are some pics of my winter setup (sorry about the poor quality/lighting).
19" TSW Bardo with Blizzak LM60.
I had to go with 19", as I could not fit 18" (this wheel model) with the M-Performance brakes.

Thanks! I actually drive down this Friday. Our first snow was in October here, and then right before Christmas, been wet a few weeks, but Winter is getting back to business now. The mountains have been getting it pretty good though!

As for the wheels/ tires, so far I highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 ZP Run Flats! I have about 1800 km on them, many of which were at relatively high speed (100-120 mph) and still very little road noise, relatively good cornering feel and grip for winter tires. Good grip on the little bit of snow and slush that I've been through in the Black Forest.
