You'll be surprised, I nearly bought one of these before summer to put my spacers on - my 'standard' trolley doesn't fit under my xDrive! (Ok it's got the ACS springs)

Thanks for the code OP - reserved one!

All fits nicely. Plenty of space even with a rubber jack pad.

Easily lifts car high enough for a wheel change. I had to have a play...

Just used it at one corner to check the jack. There were impressions into the back from the 4 raised bits of the jack cup even after this short usage.

Seems decent enough though. Maybe a bit of something inside the jacks cup may save the insert a little. Just enough to reduce the bite from the raised bits...

I'll trawl back through my emails to see if I can find the seller I bought from.

Rechecking the 'instructions' or small print it would appear I screwed up and didn't read throughly. That's most unlike me so I guess I was rushing! I'll get another...

Note to self, use on a flat surface on to of the jack.

Re. using a lump of wood - my old jack wouldn't have fitted under the car with wood on - maybe my new low profile one will

I found that the jacking cup on the Halfords low profile was too small. This meant that the jack adapter would have to balance on top of the cup, which I wasn't too happy with-especially as mine is a composite plastic.
After a bit of research, this also meant that this wouldn't actually fit under my car which has slightly lowered suspension.Shame,as my old Halfords jack had a removable centre section within the cup for different applications.
More expensive, but very low and with a very large jacking cup,I ended up buying a Sealey 2500 le.

A bit of overkill for occasional use,but perfect for low slung bmw's.
