US Import (US => ECE) - Problem with HU (FA Stay US)

Yes, I have the HK. I thought about coding, then waiting. Maybe it would reset itself after a specified time, but since it's not my car, I didn't do that.

My cruise shows in miles, but I also never tried to code it. Didn't bother me since everything else is in km/h (HUD speed)

Interesting. So far it seems like people that have our issue all have H/K. I'm still reading up on it, hopefully I can figure out what's causing the issue.

Update. I changed the country to Australian and everything (FM, Traffic, RDS) works.

This should solve your problem of removing "Mhz":

ANZEIGE_FREQ = nicht_aktiv

With regards to how the stations are now sorted, this is normal once you change radio country to ECE. Even Euro-spec cars from the factory have their stations sorted alphabetically.

anybody solved problem with cruise control conversion from mph to km/h ? it seems its impossible to code it to show km/h.

I looked into this as well and as far as I understand its possible but complex (many people just say replace the whole speedo assembly into EU type) - you need to dump EEPROM or something likes this.

For example you can add the 6UD to your VO and code the HU and the kombi.
6UD is the equipment number for russian language.

I think there's no need, because the US codings will be overwritten.

No, there will be no errors.
It's like a list of languages.
If you code the 6UD, the master language will be russian, but you can select other languages in NBT.
If you code the 853, the master language will be english_UK and you can select other languages in NBT.

well then, there were Errors, mapping that there are few language packs, so you MUST delete other language options while adding other!

Thank, all works with 6UD (it contents Primary Russian with English, German, and many others)

can anyone help me with US -> ECE conversion? car is 2015 year, on FA changer type to ECE and national version to German, code all car, and got lots of errors "Coding does not match car equipment" and front fog lights error on FA no fog lights. It there needed any wiring modifications?

I've the same issue as some of the others above - cruise control units different to all other speed units (cruise shows in km/h but rest of dash is mph)

That post looks pretty tough (flashing EEPROMS)! - is there an easier option for coding this at all?

What is the trick to update NBT maps (NBT_K15072A) from US to EU? (none of the FSC keys generated wasn't working for 2018-1, 2018-2 version of Next maps.
