I have quite aggressive offsets but no rubbing, my car is also pretty low but I can clear speed bumps without issues.

I have my winter wheels on now and would say that it is 50% stiffer (worse comfort) than stock. On smother surfaces it is just fine but on slow speed obstacles like speed bumps etc you feel that it is a track oriented suspension and it is quite rough.

I would say Bilstein B14 is perfect for someone looking for sporty ride and that push the car frequently and won't mind sacrificing comfort for performance.
Hmmmm. Considering that, the car would be too low for Indian condition but I'd anyway go with a 225/45R18, 255/45R18 setup so that would mean an additional 15mm of height compared to your ride and since there's scope for an additional 10mm as you said, I think it shouldn't be an issue driving her on our roads.

B14 on F30 owners: Any noise when making slow turns

Just got mine installed and within 1 week the spring noises started as I make slow speed turns. I have seen many mentions of this problem on P-cars and other BMWs (including PSS10 on my old E90 but the sound was less pronounced). Some have mentioned the need for conical washers, loosening the top nut etc etc etc. Talked to Bilstein tech support today and was told it's pretty much the nature of coilovers and the only way to tweak it is to turn the spring and grease the washers a little. I am curious to know if this affects a lot of B14/F30 owners and what they have done to address it.

What kind of noise?
I haven't noticed any strange noises during the 2 years I have used them.

was looking into this set, but your feedback kind of set me back. im looking for something that prioritizes ride comfort over any type of handling improvements (of course in addition to the drop in ride height).

The kw street comforts seem great but are out of my price range...

When I changed from Pirelli to Michelin tires I also raised the car a bit. Both these actions made it a bit smoother. In the end I didn't think it was that bad at all. But it isn't comfort oriented.

And I would not buy these if I was driving in or around New York, I was there a few weeks ago and the roads really sucked. I only took a taxi to and from JFK to midtown though, so the roads might be better in other places.
