Installing 403m 19" wheels to F34

Hey all,
I am a new to this forum and also new to modifying cars. For 2 years I have been driving my GT 320d on long distances, approx 900 miles/month and have plans to change to new tires. With that said, I am looking into purchasing a new wheel to change together with the tires. My personal favorite is the 403m 19" wheels, but i am not sure it will fit the GT due to differences in the offset.

Current 397 rims:
Front and back
Tire: 225/50 R18
Rim: 8Jx18 ET34

New 403m rims:
Front
Tire: 225/45 R19
Rim: 8Jx19 ET36
Back
Tire: 255/40 R19
Rim: 8.5Jx19 ET47

Can someone help comment if it would be possible to install the 403m to my F34 despite differences in the offset?

Thanks a lot!
Yang

Sawadee Krub Khun Yang,

Currently test driving the 320d here in BKK. Are you sure you want to get away from that tire rim combo? It's so smooth on our bumpy roads

Which service center do you usually go to?

Hello Krub,

You are absolutely right, but right now i'm a sucker for 19" wheels haha

I usually go to Millenium auto on rama 4. I hope your 320d test drive was a good experience!

But you will need spacers as the F34 has different offset and the rear rims are broader. It has normally 8x19 ET30 and 9x19 ET42.

I can help you out as I have helped out other people with rim fitments. I just bought a set of 405m's to go on my new F36 when I order it and I currently have a set of aftermarket 19's on my GT. They are 19x8.5 +38 front 19x9.5 +43 rear. They fit fine and the 405 is the same offset as 403. I plan on test fitting the 405 on my GT when I put my 19's back on for the summer but it will be a couple of weeks yet. If I could figure out how to post pictures I can show everything. I have taken pictures of the car on the lift with all measurements to provide Discount Tire with info on the GT for their database and provided other info for members. 403 is a sweet rim will look great on the car.

Thanks TePee. I reckon I will need spacers for only my rear wheels due to the big offset gap (Rear: current et34, new et47)

Thank you.
