If PPK for the N55 gives 330hp with 350lb ft non over-boosted, that would be a very good upgrade, and it keeps warrant in tact.

I'm going to get it retrofitted in december(according to BMW AG/my dealer). Dunno the pricing yet but it will be done.

350lb ft torrque sounds quite nice.

I take it there aren't any good sources of hp/torque gains with price? I assume it will be like the E90 PPK and offer chip and chip+cooling options. I want the BMW PPK, but can't see going with it without at least +30hp/torque. Even those numbers are light compared to aftermarket gains, but slight concessions can be made to keep it "legal" and under warranty.

So when you order/buy the PPK for US cars, is it always a VPC or dealer installed option? They don't do it via a build sheet, correct?

I can't say for certain, but dealer/VPC is most likely the option here. You'll have to wait a few months until it is out.

It's available now for the F30 335 from production 11/2012 and newer. No word on earlier production except the DME will be replaced. Retail on the available kit is $1100. Similar gains to the E9x ppk and thats said to be on the conservative side.

Bought mine from getbmwparts.com (Tischer BMW) yesterday...soon as it arrives I'll be scheduling an install with my local dealer. Hoping it arrives by this weekend, although I won't know until it actually ships.

The DME's for these kits are ordered coded to VIN# from Germany, so they'll take a couple of weeks to arrive here once orderd.
