Vehicle Check

Hey guys, my vehicle check message came up. Does anyone know what goes on in these checks? Should I be concerned about my JB4? I've got CPO warranty until 2020.

It could be any one of a few dozen possibilities. You need a code reader to see what it is.

Oh this is a standard check thing. It's one of the things listed in iDrive alongside front brake pads, etc.

If it says 'Check Engine' then it's going to be one of the items not specifically tagged in iDrive the way, for instance, oil and brake pads are.

Understood, but the check engine light isn't on, it simply says Vehicle Check.

In that case, judging by the age of your car, it's probably telling you that the comprehensive vehicle check interval has been reached.

vehicle check is just a way to get the dealer to make you schedule an appointment and look things over to try and make money. Its not a bad thing to have done though, especially if under warranty and a maint plan still.

Thanks! I think the date shot up when I did my oil change and reset the date. It said Nov 2018 before.
