Yes 8mm in overall diameter, I was referring to the sidewall height increase of 4mm from an aesthetic viewpoint. I don't think dropping to 35 would have been prudent.

235/35 would have been worse, but why not stick to 225/40?

Blackcircles don't stock that size and I didn't want the hassle of ordering from 2 different places.

I just checked blackcircles and it appears their prices are actually competitive these days! On 255/35/19's they're £15 cheaper per Goodyear assy 3 and £10 cheaper on PS4 than oponeo!

I spoke to blackcircles ref not having 225 and they said they had sold out...I have been checking the site almost daily and never seen them listed? Others sites have 225 but not BC?
Find it hard to believe they sold out ...I don't think i they have the stock yet?

Got my PS4S rears fitted today and whilst I've only done 20 miles, I can definitely tell the difference between a fresh set of Super Sports and PS4S - Wet grip has noticeably been improved! would definitely recommend

Sounds good. What are you running on the fronts?

Got Super Sports 225 at the front, Unfortunately those had 6mm on them so weren't worth changing (despite getting them fitted at the same time as the rears which had about 1.3-1.6mm : )

I've tried Conti Sport 5s, Pirellis, Michelin Super Sports and Michelin PS4S and the PS4S are the best hands down followed by the Super Sports. The tyre wear on the Conti 5s was alarming to say the least! London weather has been a bit up and down so I've managed to test in wet & dry conditions - Done just under 200 miles since yesterday and am very happy with my purchase.

Camskill on mail order, think they were £192 when I looked the other day.
But once you've added their £7 delivery they are £1 more expensive than oponeo.

Although if you're buying two tyres I guess it's still just £7 delivery, so they'd be £6 cheaper.

You're not going to get them any cheaper than that currently, they are the latest and greatest tyre on the market!

Is it ok to run with 265/35/20 rather than 255/35/20 as the Michelin PS4s dont seem to be available in 255/35/20 which is what i have on the car when delivered. Drawbacks anyone?
