Have you checked out the M-Sport details in our F30 official thread (click on M Sport tab at the top)?

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592598

If you still have specific questions after reviewing that, please feel free to ask.

I've never owned a BMW so I'm a little confused with the different model names. For example, is an F30 the same as a 335i and when is it proper to use one name or the other?

Will the F30 in the US have 3rd generation Run Flat tires?

I read a couple reviews online mentioning the 3rd generation RFT were much improved. Would be nice to know if those are coming to the US or if those are still only in Europe.

I have a few:

1) Will all cars, even the base model, have the exterior high gloss shadow line?

2) I see that the sport automatic transmission is going to be a $500 stand alone option. If you get this with the base model, will they just throw paddle shifters on the base steering wheel? The UK website shows that when you select the gearbox they automatically upgrade the steering wheel to the sport steering wheel. It would look kind of stupid to throw paddle shifters on the base steering wheel.

3) Will there be any LED lights on the car? What about that turn signal light?

4) Will there be absolutely no way to order saddle or red leather unless you purchase the corresponding "line". Ie: no priority 1 options on interiors? Same with interior trims?

5) Is the PDC and Rearview camera the same set-up as in the 5 and 7?

6) Will there be an automatic trunk closer. In the 2012 528 we just got, there a button to press on the top of the trunk and it automatically closes the trunk. Will this be added with the Convenience Package (I'm not talking about the foot waving with opening the trunk, but the button to close the trunk).

Thanks

It was mentioned that the F30 drag coefficient was much improved over the previous generation. Will the M-sport aerodynamics improve/degrade that number?

Is the high speed aerodynamics of the F30 improved by the M-sport package, or is it simply a cosmetic difference?

For the US models, Sport Line is required to get Sports Auto Transmissison (option 2TB).

With regard to M Sport package:

1. What exterior colors will be available?
2. What seat materials/colors will be available?
3. Will there be color-coordination between the interior and exterior paint, e.g., will the dashboard stripe and seat stitching match/compliment the paint?
4. Trim finishes?
5. What engineering M Sport marvels await 335 AWD buyers?
6. Will other packages be required purchases in the M Sport? If so, what?

Thanks!

How long will the 335i be powered by the N55 engine? Wonder if there is planned a follower of this engine (or at least an evolution) in the next 1 or 2 years. If so, what performances can we expect (hp, torque, mileage etc.)?

I'd love to know if this is true or not. I really want 2TB, but not ZSL.

Seems pretty clear to me, based on the BMW NA ordering & pricing guide:
2TB requires ordering ZSL

Thanks!
All of this plus will the manual transmission be offered with the AWD M Sport and will 19" wheels be standard/available on the AWD M sport?

Thanks a lot!

Will the 320i replace the Canadian 323i? Maybe it could even come to USA, competing with the C250.

I was afraid to see all those 18" wheels almost standard everywhere until I realized that the 225/40/18 tires are gone, replaced by 225/45/18. I fixed three 18" rims. The 225/40 is still present in the 19", though.

Will it be possible to order a 3 wagon M-Sport with xDrive in the US? 328 or 335?

3) The 3rd brake light and numberplates lights are LED. Front turn signals are not-LED

5) It shares the sensors and cameras with different models like the 5 and 1 Series, so is similar

6) Doubtfull. The F30 still has a pressurized strut to keep the lid open. The automatic versions usually only have strings

Atleast for the 1st year. After that no one knows yet.
The F30 N55 does get a new high pressure fuel pump though
