New caliper and wheel color

I'm starting to get good with the Pasti-dip! Changed my bare metal calipers and shiny steel M-Sport wheels to Lamborghini orange metallic and gunmetal, first the calipers then the wheels...I love the look with the black metallic body paint.

Which paint did you use and where did you source it?
I would love to paint mine blue.
Thanks!

what was the steps to paint the calipers. Did you remove them and pull them apart, then spray?

Nope, I just pulled the wheel off and then masked really well around the caliper, and masked off the edge of the pad and the exposed rotor really well, covered the surrounding body with plastic drop cloth. I figured no one is going to see the back of it anyway, so I wasn't worried about pulling it off and shooting the whole thing, I just masked across the top of it so there was a clean line. Took about 40-45 minutes per wheel to do it right.

I may attempt that sometime this fall. Was one can enough for all four?
My car is a liquid blue metallic, I was hoping for a blue color too, but maybe I will go Read. :\

Here is the company site with many custom BMW specific colors:

http://www.g2usa.com/category/BMW-Custom-Colors.html

This is usually considered the best caliper paint. After a ton of research I figured this is what I'd go with. I have been wanting to do this but recently got the itch to switch to an M3 so not sure if I'll mess with painting them. Anyway, just wanted to share this alternative.

Oh and OP, nice work. Looks good.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, I have a 328 not a 335, which means I should not highlight my puny brake calipers. :\
