The only OEM BMW trunk spoiler I know of for the F30 in the M-Performance one. Most replicas are modeled after it.

I actually want the E9X trunk lip. It's more subtle.

Do you think fitment would be an issue? I agree with going with a more subtle style is aesthetically more pleasing.

I'm at EAS looking at them now. The E92 trunk spoiler might work on the F30. The E90 trunk spoiler won't. It's more curved.

I believe so. There seems to be 3 major sellers for these spoilers - 2 from Taiwan and one from China.

The only reason why I haven't ordered yet is because I can't decide between Matte Black, Carbon Fiber, or red.

Hello just received mine in the mail. Does your spoiler have 3 drilled holes underneath? Looks like whoever
did this did not use a depth limiter as it drilled the other side a little. Mine has 2 holes on the left side and
1 on the right side center.

Does anybody know if shops can color match AW300 perfectly (OEM BMW paint)? They have unpainted ones for sale for ~$65 and would rather get a guaranteed color match than to settle for a shade difference.

That's what I did. I purchased an unpainted spoiler for $40 and had my shop paint match it using my gas tank lid. That's the only way you're guaranteed a match.

I take it you popped off the gas tank lid?

If so, was it relatively easy to do? And if you don't mind me asking how much did the shop paint the spoiler for?

Yeah. He popped off the lid. It's extremely easy to take off. My shop hooked me up, but I'd imagine that $150 or less should be all that a shop would charge to paint that.

Mine did not have the holes drilled, it was clean all across the bottom of the spoiler.

You're over-thinking it. Just install it. I had mine installed on a cold rainy day. It's fine! Others installed theirs on hot humid days. Those are fine too. It's just a trunk spoiler.

What Sedan said, just install it! It's more important to let the adhesive settle after installing it. If your using 3m double sided tape with accelerant then give it a week before the next time you use a machine wash. If your not using accelerant give it a little longer before your next wash and keep the speed under 65mph. Most body glues only take a day or two to settle and will have specific instructions on suggested settling temperature, as long as it's not freezing it will settle in under a week.
