End of 2015 deals or purchases?

Anyone buy a BMW on December 31st or in December in general and get great deals?

I did not but there was the $750 holiday credit and $750 option credit aside from what dealers are willing to discount.

I think I got a decent deal in early December. MSRP was $61.3k and paid $51.6k before taxes.

For above replies what model year did you get your deals on?

I just got a 2016 428i coupe this weekend and the best I could do was ~1k below invoice and on top of that the $1500 worth of BMW incentives (so ~2.5k below invoice). I see the best deals are usually in California, in the Houston market dealers were playing hard ball even at the end of December.

Well you can still get a brand new 2015 in 2016 just like you can get a brand new 2016 in 2015.

Edit let me explain:

Ok, were talking about December right? That's what the OP says. So it's impossible to buy a 2016 in 2015, because obviously a 2016 car won't of been built yet. Over here, cars get built to order (which takes two months) our plates change in March to 2016.. So my car will be built in 2016 on a 2016 plate.. Technically speaking you could register a 2016 car as a 2015 plate if you recieve it before March, but you'd be a bit of an idiot to do so (unless you REALLY needed the car).

Even if they had pre-reg stock, which they tend not to (obviously floating dosh). Then if it's bought in December, it's a 2015 car on a 2015 plate which is obvious. But as it's 2016 and the car would of been registered in 2015, it's not "technically" brand new is it?

Hope that explains things? Anywho, again my car is being built to order (which hasn't started yet, just had a build slot assigned) and will be a 2016 car on a 2016 plate.

Lots of folks here in the US had their 2016MY car built-to-order and delivered in 2015, so your example is not the case in the US. 2016MY were available as far back as October 2015 here. Someone asked you what year and all you said was "It's brand new.." which did not clarify anything, that's all.

Thanks all for sharing. 10K off MSRP is pretty wicked deals even if it's before taxes.

It's just a matter of finding one that has everything you might want. Now my dilemma is the 340 being available. But I don't think anyone's giving me 10k off one of those!

I got 4k off of MSRP which I thought was a good deal considering it was built and not on the lot.

Leased a 2016 340i back in December. 8 miles on the dash and was still covered in plastic.

MSRP $52.9k (before destination and taxes), got to a selling price of $46.3k.

MF of .00131, 7 MSDs, $0 down. Leasing for $450/month

I leased a 2015 328 GT on 31 December. The MSRP was $54, 595, the sale price was $39k. This is my first non sport/msport car, but I couldn't walk away from that deal

Before taxes I got close to 10k off MSRP on a fully loaded 340i M Sport with Track Handling Package.
