I will order a basic car sometime in the next few months, pending sale of my e46.

Am contemplating:

M package
6 speed
No leather
Htd seats
Not much else

Asking the wise ones who have their car or are waiting for delivery.
Regrets?
Second thoughts?
What features are meh?
Or those you can't live without?

Consider cold weather package- includes heated steering wheel. I didn't think I would like but I use it often.

I don't think you can get heated seats without leather

I would add adaptive suspension and the drivers assistance package with contains the backup camera and the park distance

I do not like the fake leather. You should check out real leather and fake leather side-by-side. Fondle them both, Rub it. Massage it. Smell it. I'd be surprised if you choose the fake stuff after comparing them both

Heated seats ? maybe I live where it's never Cold so I don't see the point.

M sport package ? don't know why people buy this. Perhaps you're looking for staggered wheels and the better suspension? If so, get it. If not, skip it. The steering wheel and bumpersare not worth the asking price

I love the back up camera and sensors. Definitely get that.

The adaptive suspension is awesome. You either have to get m sport and add it or get the track pack

If it was me, I get upgraded color, leather, manual, track pack, nicer rims, backup camera, and I'd stop there. Oh wait, I already did that. :-)

I do like the m sport bumpers a lot
I like the durability of synthetic seats
I have leather in my M3 and this will be family ride, sooo.....

Same, I can't take the F30 without Msport Package.

I had fake leather in my previous 328 and Coral Red now in my 340i.
The Dakota leather is nicer but it's something I can live without if my wife didn't insist.

I got my 340i with all the packages. Only one I was on the fence about was the Driver's Assistance Plus. I debated just adding the Side & Top View Cameras vs. the whole package but a few people told me if the Active Driving Assistant saves you once it'll be completely worth it, so I got it.

Only thing I regret NOT adding was going for Merino or Nappa leather. The Dakota feels too much like a football and not as luxurious as I'd like it to be.

Mentioned it in another thread you were in, LED's are standard.

ZMM (M-Sport) comes with fog lights, ZTR (Track) deletes fog lights.

The fact that the Adaptive Suspension is bundled makes it really attractive for Xdrives, but I don't think it's vital. I really like how the package comes with Michelin PSS (Non-RFT) tires though, which may or may not concern you.

M Sport, 6-speed, Cold Weather (Saddle Brown), Driver Assistance, X-drive/Adaptive Suspension, Sunshades.

No regrets whatsoever. Really like the M Sport, 6-speed, Driver Assistance and Adaptive Suspension. Quite like the Cold Weather and Leather. 6k km's of mostly clouds and rain so no opinion on the sunshades yet. Don't miss Navigation for a second.

i skipped the leather and don't regret it at all. 6 speed, m sport, heated seats, park sensors are great. im pretty sure the park sensors have stopped my valet parking dudes from dinging up my bumper like crazy like they did on my last car which did not have it
