Hey,

Firstly: Do you have an LED driver included in your foglight setup? If you do then you don't need to code any of the voltages, because the LED driver automatically handles the task of voltage adjustment.

Hey,

Regarding the fog lights, I believe you are on the right track if you want to change the color tone, and regarding strength, these are pretty strong, not overkill. However, it is worth mentioning that I have a headlight kit in my fog lights, so the intensity won't be as strong. The 50W turn signals too are a very good choice, not overkill. If you can hold on for a while, I placed an order for my friend's E63 630Ci. I ordered him front + side + rear turn signals as well as front fog lights. Once I install I will instantly snap pictures and post them in hopes of helping you and others when it comes to bulb swaps.

Bimmian, but they're slightly more expensive, and they don't actually tell you bulb ratings.

For my fog lights, I had to get a CanBus connector because the car would keep adjust the voltage, in which one bulb turns off and one stays on, or both don't work. You might not need this since you are getting the normal bulbs / not the headlight LED kit, but better be safe than sorry, in which you'd have to wait for another shipment.

Note: If you are getting the headlight LED kit, you will still need the CanBus connectors but you wouldn't need to code any voltage changes in the car. The LED driver sorts that out.

I'll check what type is fitted on my friend's new C class and will confirm which bulb manufacturer they use.

Alright so the 100 watt probably stands for equivalent incandescent bulb rating, in which, the amount of light that it gives you is equal to that of a 100 watt incandescent bulb. The actual rating is 15 watts. Therefore, it gives you 100 watt incandescent lighting whilst using 15 watts of power only. I wouldn't recommend you go with these though, they don't seem to high of a quality. 5000k = Pure White

I checked my friend's Merc. He has LEDs fitted to his car. As far as I know, new C classes are either Halogen or LED, which explains why they are whiter than our Xenons.

This is the only one that seems decent quality wise IMO.

If you are looking for these types of bulbs, you should check out Horizon's for the sake of warranty. Never had any experience with these types of bulbs, however, I would go with Horizon in case they burn out, they can replace them for you and not end up being a waste of money.

ok I've made very good search and came up with these, they are identical as on Horizon LED
I want to get the 80 but not sure if it needs resistor.

It might need the resistor, and it might not. If you want try it out without the CanBus connectors first, if your lights function normally, then you don't need them. It's a trial and error, as each bulbs have a different design and CanBus characteristics.
