Square 255/35/19 on f32?

Hi guys, after looking extensively, I did not find any definitive answer.

Is it possible to run a square setup of 255/35/19 on a f32 xdrive m performance?

If yes, what is the ideal wheel width and offset?

Thanks

Yes, will fit fine with correct offset!

255/35-19 on 8.5x19" with offset ~35-38.

Yes it will work if the wheels are right. That means not repurposing BMW F32 OEM 19” Staggered Wheels.

Has anyone bought new factory rear wheels and used a 12mm spacer to get to 35et on an f3x? Thinking of adding two rear wheels and tires to match my oem set and going 255 square.

255 will not fit correctly on front wheels (8.0”) of BMW OEM F3x 19” staggered setup.

What I meant was keeping my existing rears and buying two more factory 8.5” rears with 255’s and running spacers to lower the offset from 47 to 35 and running them in front.

Thoughts?

Noting that people are running BMW M4 437m on F32s with 255/35/19 in the front, using that as the current setup, as you can see, the F32 rears would be 18mm closer to the Strut.

You really need to get the wheels out 18mm+. The reason I say 18mm+ is because several F32 owners (not all) claim 255/35/19 scrap the inside if turned totally to the right..so 20mm might fit the bill to be safe.

That said, I don’t see 35 offset working.

OK so you are saying that I should add a 6-7 mm spacer at the front wheels if I have 19x8.5 et35 wheels?

Based on all available info, I’d say that’s the minimum to add for F32 given reports of some issues on F32 (not F30) scrapping in front interior with 437m and 255/35/19.

The reports MIGHT have been X-Drive only F32, you’d have to go back and search. As I do not have F32 I did not pay attention to every small factor. Going by memory.

Given I cannot find the posts and I believe it was concerning x-drive, I’d just use the spacers to hit et29 (18mm) and change to slightly more if they rub.

I have also noticed that 437m are 19x9 +29, and the wheels that a plan to buy are 19x8.5 +35, so the inset for both wheels are virtually identical. Therefore, I might only need a 2-3mm spacer in the worst case scenario.

i'm pretty sure 19x8.5 +35 with 255/35/19 will fit without rubbing the spring perch or strut, without a spacer.

with the above set up, i believe that if you add a spacer where the effective offset +29 or greater there is a possibility the outer front shoulder will rub the front wall of the fenderwell liner at full lock.
