Another drivetrain malfunction thread

Hey guys, here to come and complain about my "drivetrain malfunction" error on my 2013 328i M sport. 6mt. I'm running bms stage 1. Catless down pipe and exhaust. Along with a host of other modifications. My "malfunction" has not rendered my car useless, however i am experiencing a loss of power and a weird, sluggish jumpy accerlation. The error pops out as soon as i start my car. Any advice? Afraid to take it in to the dealer. If anybody is in the greater Seattle/PNW Area and is aware of any modification friendly dealers, your help would be appreciated!

Well, no offence, but thats what u get for going aftermarket. This is exactly why I'm waiting/hoping for the PPK...

Good luck!

It's pretty well documented that this issue is not caused by aftermarket equipment, in fact i removed my tune and the issue is still there. The dilemma is that I'm faced with the problem of the dealer turning me away.

For real? Thats worth a shot. I mean, I'm not suffering from the limp mode so i guess i'll try out the sea foam.

believe it my F10 is completely stock and happened the same problem, in my F30 since I use RON95 I don't have this problem anymore since it's tuned & need better fuel as for the F10 I always use Octane with RON92 but it's still nasty stuff

There are 2 times that I got this error:

1) When I added Redline fuel system cleaner into my fuel tank. Error went away after going through 2 full tanks of petrol.

2) When the weather was really wet and I kept my foot on the accelerator and the DSC light kept blinking for a good 3-4 seconds while my wheels were locked up. Error went away after a few hours.

Hope it helps!

Alright so I've tried a few things, and here's what I've got.
Took my car to a bmw tech friend of mine at a dealer, he told me that I was throwing clutch codes that couldn't be replicated. I've found that the problem completely goes away when I clear the obd2 codes (for exhaust, since I'm running a catless DP) but as soon as the codes pop again, so does the drivetrain malfunction error, As well as my loss of power and engine stuttering. I'm going to swap out the exhaust and see what happens, but before I do that I was thinking up upgrading my BMS stage 1 to JB4 and running the auto clear for the codes. Anyone got any advice?
