Aftermarket filters
Just curious to see if any of the aftermarket filters make a difference in induction noise while still running a stock box. Not looking to switch to an injen or afe. Just looking to see if afe oiled/dry or the pipercross foam makes a difference in sounds. I'm considering the pipercross from ecs on Tuesday

I'd be very surprised to see any noticeable difference from just dropping in a new filter. The engine intake noise reduction comes from the airbox design, not the filter.

I have K&N. I love it. I use them in all my vehicles.

Not too much if at all. I also have the performance exhaust on my car, so I notice that more than I do the engine noise.
