2014 335 MSport xdrive 6MT Stock:

Made 5 runs. 13.5x at 103.xx was my best. Had 2 of those, 2 at 13.6x at 103.xx, and 1 13.9 at 103.xx (launched at too low an rpm). 60' times were 1.8x/1.9x. Worst was the 13.9 when my 60' was 2.0x seconds. Overall happy with those results for stock and 6mt. Trap speed never changed which seems reasonable. My last E90 335 6mt (rwd rather than xdrive) had a best of 13.6 but I wasn't consistent so a bunch of 13.9s-14.1s. I'm sure the 8AT would be better with the short gearing.

Considering gear ratios it's still faster to shift at lower horsepower in a lower gear

Oops, typo. I meant 5000~ 5500 rpm. It seems that both torque in dyno curve and boost psi in JB4 logs die after 5000-5500 rpm.

You're right, but the engine will rev faster in a lower gear, so the slight drop in power is not worth shifting early for

If temp is around 80 maybe 13.7 o 13.8.

I was thinking 13.5 with a good 60ft, so that seems about right. I use to own a Cayman S PDK, and ran a 13.0@108, so was thinking this car wouldn't be to far off of that; around town, the 328 feels just as fast as that CS did.

You were right. I observed better 0-60 times with S mode!!

In S mode, it shifts from 1st to 2nd at around 5.5k, and 2nd to 3rd at about 6.7k. With M mode it was not possible as limiter kicked in at around 6.5k.

We did drag racing yesterday here in Indonesia
My friend modified f30 320 (jb4 etc) did it in 14.157s (3rd place for 14s class)
my light mod SB chip+DP only hitting 13.9 for 328i (dis)
other n55 with jb4+wmi hit 12.5
temp maybe below 40C

I ran 14.6 with a 320i bad traction in DS mode not sport+. MAP5 with bad octane gas. Only Mods DP and JB4. Running stock runflats in bad weather. Car is a lot faster with high octane gas. Right now the fastest 320i runs 12s in Taiwan.

OK using Same mods F30 320i limited traction just ran a 14.1 really bad gas map 5 so as M&M posted I have to agree on the 13.5s for modded 320i F30.

13s capable just with new tires and 95OCT (AKI) real gas not the crap I get here. Not fast by any standards...just wanted to see what it runs.

last 2 passes vs. N55s this is a new track so traction is not optimal.

About Taiwan they use upgraded turbo and water injection. N20s are popular there. I have seen the numbers and 12s is common. They are shooting for 11s now. Lots of broken axle shafts and blown motors so it is not like they are not pushing those cars to the limit. I believe there is one person already getting upgraded custom pistons for one FBO 320.


BTW have you guys checked out MANHART with their new reflash. Puts the N20s at 446Nm of torque way over the 420Nm of 328s with the same stage 1 reflash.

Ran a 13.6@101 in my 328 w/ BMS stage 1 even with a bad 2.1 60 foot. This was my first time ever taking this car down the track as well, and didn't get to do any other runs
I'm on the stock run flat tires and launched pretty easy brake torquing to 2k rpms.
Sub 13.5's should be do-able with more practice!
