BMW NBT 2017-1 Map Updates

I am trying to update the maps of a BMW S1 2010, but when trying to read the fsc code with SWID_reader 1B it gives the IFH-0009 error.
The communication seems to be okay because it does not give a mistake when the call reads well the vin, and I even managed to change the language of cic.

It requires an ICOM Interface. If you have a DCAN Cable, it will not work.

ENET Cable is for F/I/G Series cars.

For E-Series, most things can be done with DCAN Cable, but for this, ICOM Interface is needed.

I wrote above that ENET is only for F/I/G Series cars, and that E-Series car must use DCAN Cable or ICOM Interface in this case, so I am lost as to why you then ask me if you can connect to E-Series car with ENET. No, you cannot. ENET Cable will not work for E-Series.

DCAN Cable is not possible to pull 1B. You must use an ICOM Interface. That means buying a very expensive ICOM Interface, then configuring EDIABAS to use ICOM, then read 1B with SWID Reader. For map update only, ICOM is not worth the cost.

Hi, i’m having problems when i run the FSc Generator.exe - i get a Microsoft.NET Framework error saying i’m getting an unhandled exemption with the following error
“Road is an unexpected token Expecting White Space. Line 815, Position 75”

if i continue rather than quit, i can brows to my FSC file but the map list is empty.
Any ideas?
Ive attached my FSC file if anyone can help out, just rename to fsc please.
I want generate fsc code to update my map to Next Europe 2017-1.

That is what I got. Is VIN of head unit C253299? How was CIC activated? If script activation or emulator, then it will likely need to be done the same way.

That is correct. i activated cic via script. already did this on another car and the update went smooth (although thhis one was not a retrofit, only a replacement for a used unit).

Edit: What do you mean by "likely need to be done the same way" ?

My '16 vehicles have free updates for 2 years. Since your X5 is '14, I would assume you need a code.

Trying to update CIC to North America Premium 2017-1 on F30.
Got everything up until I try to get code.txt, the file ends up being empty.

My fsc.bat file uses 0x2D and 0x29 for region and 2017-1.
Then in command I type fsc.exe FX99805.fsc 0x2d 0x29 FX99805

Any ideas why I can't come up with a code?

My .fsc file is attached (change .pdf to .fsc). Thanks!
