Recovered: Stolen 320D GT

My lovely 320D F34 GT Sport, Glacier Silver YE13 YAG was stolen several weeks ago.

18" 397 style twin spoke wheels, Black Dakota Leather with red stitching, Xenons.

It went from our driveway in Morley, Leeds on early hours of Monday 9th May. Scumbags broke in and got key. Wife's credit card was used at a Tescos, a McD's and a petrol station in Bradford that night. It's a while ago now, I probably should have posted closer to when it happened but if anyone remembers one being driven badly/fast/suspiciously, or just parked in the aforementioned establishments, in the wee hours of 9th May in that general area they should contact WY Police. Sunday 8th was a really hot sunny day so lots of BBQs, outdoor parties, picnics etc.

There aren't many 3 series GTs about (Parkers list 1500 for all the 3 Series from 2013 as opposed to only 29 GTs).

Oh yes and I'm still waiting for Hastings to sort it all out!!
Currently waiting "up to 14 working days" for valuation.

I'm sure you've already done this but just in case. You can find your car by using the BMW remote app but this assumes you registered with BMW and activated it in the I drive. The cars GPS also needs to be turned on.

It's long gone after several weeks and the locator will only work within 1.5km on older cars.....

Oops sorry!
Still, I guess a post with that title in the classifieds attracts views!

Let them keep it, claim on the back to list gap I am sure you invested in, take your big payout and get a new car even cheaper?

Recovered!

Ironic timing, but today, the very day I signed on the dotted line for its replacement, I got a call from WY police to say they'd recovered mine!

It was for sale as a ringer; they'd changed the vin plates for the door pillar and the windscreen. Apparently the prospective buyer did some internet research and saw the apparent same car advertised at a dealer in Cheshire, when mine was in Bradford. The PC couldn't tell me if the tea-leaves had it just on a forecourt or some local classified. Anyway the legit dealer had said to this guy no the genuine car with that plate is on our forecourt. So he rang the police who picked it up and the vehicle crime boys have confirmed it was mine.

So if that potential buyer is on here: good job, glad you didn't get stung, and thanks!

The new one. The old one belongs to the insurance company now. Also I don't know what the toe rags have done to it besides change the VIN plates etc.

Indeed. Police said Bradford is something of a hub for stolen vehicles all over West Yorks.
