BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept Headed for 2013 Detroit Auto Show Reveal
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept Headed for 2013 Detroit Auto Show Reveal Our friend from Car and Driver, Jens Meiners, reports that the concept version of the upcoming 4 Series coupe - the two door sports coupe model based off the current F30 3 Series sedan, will be unveiled at the 2013 Detroit auto show in January. If the concept 4 Series coupe indeed makes its debut at the Detroit show, along with the concept X4 SAV which is also rumored to make the show, then the 2013 Detroit show would no doubt be one of the most memorable BMW showings in recent memory, as the just revealed M6 Gran Coupe is also making its debut at the show, with a 3 Series GT premiere being a possibility as well. No need to wait until the concept debut however, as we've just posted the latest spy pics of the F32 4 Series coupe in production form. With just a bit of imagination (and the help of some close up crops), it's not difficult to imagine what the production 4 Series coupe will look like in final form. |

BMW. Always fixing something that was never broken, damaging it in the process. |

Autoweek seems to be confirming the X4 concept rumors today too.
I can't recall two BMW concepts being launched at one show since, well, ever. I suppose with so many new models coming out, eventually they have to start doubling up (or launching at more shows, or hosting independent launch events). |

Nice. Clean design, not so overloaded with lines and profiles everywhere as some other BMWs lately. Less is more. Cant wait for the GC , or even better, shooting brake.

Yes, the F32 concept will be at NAIAS. How do I know? Well, cool story. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. Last year the BWM display at the NAIAS was on a raised platform but the bastards didn't have a ramp (!), so I couldn't wheel onto it to look up close at the then-new F30. I was kind of pissed, but what are you going to do.
My dealership's general manager got me the email address of the project manager for BMW's NAIAS display in Munich. I emailed him and politely told him about the issue with their display. He was very apologetic and said he would like to "welcome me" to next year's NAIAS and meet me. I also asked about the F32 for shits and giggles. He said that he obviously couldn't divulge product info, but that "it may be worthwhile" to look at this year's LA Auto Show. The guy emailed me out of the blue last week, asked how I was doing, and offered, as a condolence for my troubles last year, credentials for me to go to the NAIAS on day two of press days on January 15! Sweet! He also mentioned that he couldn't, again, give me an official statement regarding the F32, but not to bother looking at the LA Auto Show because the NAIAS "will be a lot more interesting." PS: I didn't tell him I traded in my E92 for an A5 last February! (I still love Bimmers, but my car was old, I wanted something new, and didn't feel like waiting for the F32 - this is my first Audi and it is NICE.)

Wonder if anyone is already registering vanity plates with "M4", "4 COUPE", "4SERIES", etc... good opportunity to jump the gun a little.
