iPhone 7 messages

Has anyone figured out a fix to messages not showing on iDrive for iOS 10? I've tried re-pairing and updating the phone connectivity for the iDrive.

Try this. On your phone, go to Settings->Bluetooth and select the 'i' icon next to your car's bluetooth device connection (It shows up as 'BMW xxxxx' on mine where xxxxx is the last five digits of my VIN.). Make sure that 'Show Notifications' is On for your car's bluetooth device connection on your phone.

I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 10, and I see my messages. I didn't have to do anything different than my prior iPhones to display them.

I think the notification style has to be "alert" on your phone as well. Works fine for me.

This is correct. It's the difference between it working and not working.
