Coding navigation to non-navigation car....
I'm just about to pull the trigger on a new 218d Gran Touring for my wife as a Christmas gift.
However, the navigation option is almost €1,100 extra and I'm wondering how easy it would be to code it myself or if it's even possible? (Maybe needs different hardware and most likely a GPS antenna). If not, no big deal. She prefers using Google Maps anyway and can clip her phone easily to the dash, however if it is possible, how do I go about coding it in? Also would the standard bluetooth function include voice commands, or is that extra?

Cheers. I'm not overly fussed if it doesn't have nav. I'll probably retrofit a bimmertech airplay mirror module instead and use Sygic.
Cheers!
