It is same hardware, so yes, you can flash NBT2 to either ID4 or ID5, but FSC Code structure is different, so if you went from ID4 to ID5, you would need different FSC Codes, and as of now, no way to get them.

F30 Sheet from 2014 in OP still works. Only thing that can be different for newer models are some headlight functions. Other good sources are BMW Coding Database and 435xi list.

Hi!

Is there a chance to activate high beam assistant on F3x series without installing new szl? I have KAFAS in my car, so this option should relatively easy activated (what I have done on 2014 F25), but after FDL coding of my new F34 HBA still does not work.
I have done the following:
In FEM_BODY:
1. 3060→FLA_AKTIVIERUNG set to: werte=02
2. 3073→C_HBA_ENA set to: F030_enable=01
In KAFAS:
1. 3050→FLA_ON_OFF set to: aktiv – werte=01

On one the Russian forums I was told that to activate HBA on F3x series I need to install new szl with HBA button. Is new szl really required or I can try, for example, VO coding (add 5AC to vehicle FA)? Are there any other methods of activating HBA?

Only FRM (CAFD_0000106D) has FLA_AUTO_AKTIV function setting to automatically turn-on high beam assistant. Otherwise, you will need button.

They are obviously not hard-coded perhaps in some metadata but I'm not sure where that would be as I'm still not that familiar with esys & their datastructures.
..the bitmask check is on a save check/validation of the FDL. If we can get around the bitmask check or ID where the bitmask is kept in the metadata then this can be perhaps tackled?

I don't know for sure, but I think it is hard coded in ECU firmware.
