Does anyone know if this is fixable and if so how much would cost be? There used to be a wire I could see and now there’s nothing at all. I honestly believe someone ripped it off. I need to get this fixed because it’s to the point where it’ll completely fall off.

You need a new visor. It’s not supposed to come apart there (that end is an integral piece of the visor part number).

You can find your proper part number on RealOEM, then shop your favorite BMW parts source. See example..

Yeah, I figured that. I guess i’m just wondering since the cord was ripped off and now gone, is it an easy fix or will the shop have to take my roof apart to fix it

You should be able to it yourself sitting in your seat. Here’s the instructions (see attached PDF). Note you shouldn’t need to replace the center counter-supports…

Remove the cover that's screwed to the roof. When you get that off you should see the wire connector. It looks like wires from the visor to that connector were ripped from it. With luck you'll be able to disconnect the two halves of the connector and plug in the replacement visor.
