Hi Everyone,

I just got back from work and discovered that whoever it was I parked next to busted my exterior black sapphire door handle.

At first It thought it was bird poop or some kind of residue but as I attempted to wipe it away I felt that it was deep dent/scratch that chipped away the paint located directly on the grip of the door handle.

I want to try and replace the handle by myself. Does anyone happen to know the exact code for the exterior front right-side passenger door handle in sapphire black with comfort access for a 2016 F36?

Any help would be much appreciated.

That leaves your best option to fill it and repaint it, or find a junkyard car of the same color.

Black sapphire is a common color and AFAIK the door handle is shared with several models. You should be able to find a factory painted one on Ebay if touch-ups aren't your cup of horchata.

Personally, I would just touch it up carefully, polish it out and call it a day. You'll forget about it soon after as long as you do a decent job.
