F30 Rear Bench Peeling

I purchased an F30 with red interior. The rear bench always looked slightly repaired cosmetically and after a year in the car - It's starting to really show. I've attached pics and wondering if anyone else has run into this or knows how to get it fixed.

There is obviously some wear, but what I see is mainly incredibly dirty leather!
Do a proper leather clean and conditioning and you might be surprised about the result! Plenty of videos on youtube, look at Colourlock products or at least some of the other manufacturer's leather care lines.
Colourlock has leather repair videos too, if needed, but first you need to remove the thick layer of dirt off your leather!

Garage List
You sure the interior was originally coral red? Almost looks to me like someone dyed black interior red and the dye is coming off...

Otherwise, maybe like Skyhigh said, could just be extremely dirty.

lol you guys are silly...It's not dirty... and yes original coral red...

Those dark spots won't go away. I've detailed with Lexol about 2 months before posting these pics.

This post was to ask about how to recondition the wear marks on the leather that was previously repaired. You can see botched repair marks.

I think the leather was repaired and then resprayed over the damaged areas. I can see very visible cuts and smooth build-up in the dark areas. You will not be able to clean the respray to look like the original color, unfortunately.

Thank you Scubajim, for more of a realistic response than the others who accused me of just being a dirty slob or having a different color interior lol silly people

That was what I was afraid of - that whoever repaired this did such a shit job it eventually wore off and probably getting it reupholstered is my ONLY solution - shops want over 1.2k to change the leather out, which probably wouldn't match the rest of the car anyways.

Hopefully, I can snag a used bench somewhere and replace it that way.

I think a used seat would be the best option you can use a site like this to get started.
