My BMW dealership has been absolute fantastic, now i have a relationship with a few people in sales team as my sales guy was moved to mini but now that means he keeps an eye on the cars when they are getting serviced! I also have built a relationship with the managers as I have brought many friends to the dealership to buy cars. They always go the extra mile with free valet, wine, chocolates and even flowers. They even take my son, an avid bmw fan, to see any new models before first delivery if we are ever in the dealership around that time.
That being said Audi dealership are by far the worst I have been to. I would have said merc too as my local dealership is awful but I visited the one in city centre and it was leagues apart- I had a great experience and nearly left with a CL a few years back!

Amazing how different things are from 15-20 years ago really, BMW then were like the sort of dealers where you were looked at funny if dressed casually and probably got the extra attention as it was a bit exclusive whereas now Britain seems more upmarket and BMWS and Mercs are actually common now so the salesman simply don't have the time per customer they used to!

They are sales people, only interested in good service until they've made the sale. They're not my friends, they don't want to see me and I don't want to see them. Thats my default position anything extra is a bonus.

I have a good relationship with hj chester and cant complain, however last year I was thinking of x5 or range rover sport, was offered about 2 hour test drive with hj,conwy landrover offered me a range rover for the whole weekend and it does make you think about customer service!.
