Are these the only LED's that will fit these headlights (Main and dipped beam): http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/headlam...-led-headlight
What about these or are LED's (http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/headlam...en-4000-lumens) or are LED's with any type of heatsink other than the braided copper not fit at all? Thinking of going all LED, but I'm unsure. |

Anyway, I'm still pleased with them as they make the car look a lot better and the light output from the HID is worlds apart from the halogens. Managed to get a couple of quick photos on the way out of the door this morning |

I've been mulling over what bulbs to get for the headlights but I've finally got them. So now, I need to decide which garage to get them fitted at. Anyone recommend any good ones around the Cardiff area? I got an online quote from Lewis Motors Cardiff for £72 Inc VAT for the installation, which has me wary they don't know the how much work is required..

HIDs and LEDs from Aurora bulbs:-
PRO 35W Xenon HID - Couldn't see the point of going for Canbus ones when they were going to have to be coded anyway. Good light output - one seems a bit brighter than the other but could be alignment. Philips LumiLEDS H7 - expensive but worth it IMO given it's bumper off to change. You can find what look like identical on t'interweb for significantly less, but I wasn't prepared to take the gamble. Foglights from ABD -I bought these a while ago but hadn't got around to fitting them - it seemed like a good time to do so. Good buying experience from Aurora, found a code on the facebook page for 20.17% off - NEW2017 - think it's good till the end of Jan. A glitch on the web page meant the confirmation of order didn't have the all the lines from the entered address and I was a bit concernced to find they didn't have a phone number on the web page to clarify. However, I had a positive response back from the web page contact form within an hour of business opening the next day. Bulbs turned up within 2 days, packaging of HIDS could have been better, as entire kits were loose in a box with no foam or bubble wrap. HID bulbs themselves were in protective containers though and they worked when installed. I would also have considered the Stealth kit from ABD, who are the same company as HIDS4U, but they were out of stock when I was ordering. |
