Thanks for the info. Is the light output and brightness of these LEDs brighter than HIDs or vice versa?

I think it will be a good idea to use the LEDs for dipped beam with projector lens if the brightness is comparable to HIDs.

Anyway, i'm just going to buy it and is there anything else i should buy (cable, adapter, resistor etc) to make these LEDs work?

Using yellow halogen headlights should be banned on the road.

What a difference these headlights make, wow!!! And love those alloys with dual slate grills as well.

If you believe the website, LEDs will be brighter, difficult to see on the car as comparing main beam to dipped. Feels like it is worth a go though.

Lights, cables etc all come in the kit but the coding will still need to be done to stop the faults coming up, as it would with HIDs, or you could try the resistor module.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure how you will get the holding plate/adaptor thing to work as body of the LED looks wider than the HID/H7. You can unscrew the heat sink, but will still need to open up the adaptor I think. Might be worth dropping Aurora a line.

Will they fit, I had though the reason the braided-cooling ones were being used was because of their size. I assume the garage will do more than just code out the bulb checks? What about the warning cancellers I've seen, are they any good?

Anyway, I'm still pleased with them as they make the car look a lot better and the light output from the HID is worlds apart from the halogens.
Managed to get a couple of quick photos on the way out of the door this morning

Car looks great mate .

signature light suppose to be ON with main beam and rings as DRL .

Let's see what others say

im having the chap taking a look at the lights for me again today, the beam doesnt seem right and the light output on the road just isnt correct for HIDs. Theres plenty light ahead but barely much on the road itself... any advice/ideas for things to look out for or tell the chap when im there? car is due in after 2pm

edit : forgot to mention someone whos in the know said the bulb maybe upside down, would / could this be impacting throw of light on the road? i thought the bulbs only went in one way!? :

There is no indent on the back of the projector housing so it's possible the bulb is in upside down. The little stick on the hid bulb must be at the very bottom when inserting the bulb into the housing.

DRL - Rings only at full brightness

Sidelights - Rings at half brightness, accompanied by eye brows

Low beam on - HIDs on, rings and brows also on at half brightness

I always get confused when you say halos, because halos is a term for the halo rings in BMWs headlights.

You mean the standard lights
