Blaming the Projector lense? Highly doubt it mate...other members are satisfied with their projector headlights.

Well, they didn't explain to me what went wrong before of course, but it looks to me that the ex-BMW technician with 15 years of experience put bulbs the wrong way. Fortunately, they didn't charge me extra for longer duration labour cost. So, i thanked them for that lol.

Yes mate. Light output is now many times brighter after they rectified the problem. New bulbs are H7 6000K and 55W ballasts as before. I wasn't so happy with brightness because previous H7R bulbs were blocking all lights from spreading with black shield which i didn't know i was using the wrong bulbs. Very happy with visibility, light out put now. I finally able to see the cut off line on rear bumper of the car in front even during day time.

Left beam is spot on, but right is slightly odd. But, i can live with that. Edge of cutoff line now has more blue/purple colour in real life, colouration is very similar to LED to my eyes.

Am interested in the DEPO xenon headlights

Hi,

I have joined the forum and have looked at your post about the plug and play xenon headlights for F30. Can you please put my name as well for the headlights as I am interested. Can you confirm that the price is £399 or as you mentioned if the group is more and there are lots of people interested, you could get it cheaper. Please let me know if this is the case and how we pay for it.

Smile Message to BrenanF30

Hi BrenanF30.

Can you put me in the list as well as I am interested. I had sent a post enquiring about the price for the headlights. Can you let me know if the price is reduced as you were going to negotiate for lower than £399.

Cheers mate. I'll properly test it out and take some pics when the weather gets better.

If anyone is still interested to upgrade, have a look at this. They've projector lens for both low/high beams in pics.

Hi Brenanf30,
I put a post yesterday to add my name to your list for the DEPO Projector but I have not received any response yet. Have you received my post and if so, how much is the cost for it. I believe you are trying to get it cheaper than £399.00 Please add me in and let me know how much and when to make the payment.

Rank amateur mistake.... although I'd done the Same, just put the hids the right way up and looking forward to see what they look like later

I'm very sorry but the group buy ended before Christmas, you can purchase them at the full price though from the Eurowagens website.

Noticed this the first night I drove with them, there is a lovely blue/purple cut off line that is reflected on people's cars and road signs.

My headlights look like Audi's Projector Matrix LEDs from a distance
