The car in my signature IS my car... I was at VMR for a test fitting so I could decide on what rims I wanted... If you read this thread from the beginning you will see... I took the photo and edited it so I could see what my car will look like once I get it lowered.. but its my car...

Oh sorry, The Front are 19x8.5 ET35 with 245/35s and the rear are 19x9.5 ET45 with 275/35s and a 7mm spacer... once i get the coilovers I may need to swap to a 5mm spacer or so.. we will see...

SwampCat, you did a great job in your car coming from a base line.
I'm also going through the same debate. I would like to add a little whisker, adapt that to the existing bumper. You did great, but I'm not in to shaving the bumper to fit the sport trim. Anyway, I think it would be great if someone create a whisker that fit direct over the base line trim and sell that. I would surely buy that. |

You will need to take a dremel to the fog light cover or the bumper itself. I tried carving out a part of the fog ight cover and it ended up so that you could see the bumper behind it. Fitment was okay. Not noticeable since my car is MG, but it wasn't perfect. On the other hand, taking a dremel to the bumper was not something I was ready to do, but others have done it to fit the sport trim. |
