New F31...
Having paid deposit in January for June delivery, it's been a very long wait and lots of drooling over some of the new motors going up on here... On Thursday I email my dealer to get update on my order whilst having the summer wheels put back onto my E91 ready for upcoming VT... He emails back to say it was delivered the day before!! I say that's going to kill me knowing it is in the same building as I'm sat and he pops over and says he'll bring it down for me to look at. Took a few pics, sorry there aren't more.
Now I'm in the opposite position of most people on here with new cars on the way - it's delivered but I've not collected it yet!! Waiting on the VT paperwork to go through before confirming collection date as I can't afford to insure two cars, and haven't got the room at home to park them both... Killing me knowing it's down the road at the dealer and I can't have it yet currently hoping collection will be towards middle of next week |

Even a hearse looks good in EBII. Congratulations.
Looks like an xDrive.

Excellent, looks good when was your build date?
I paid my deposit first week February - a lifetime ago lol. Should have it in 15 days. They have to pick my current one first as well, not planning on insuring both old one and new one. If I need to will use 7 day BMW insurance. I have room however people will talk with extra BMW outside the house lol. |

Thanks - I did consider MG but the misses said that it was an "old man" colour and I should get something more fun. Would love to go F32 but I need the car for work which dictates having a hearse... Correct on the x-drive, test drove with and without and enjoyed the 4wd. Shame it looks like it's on stilts though...

Feel your pain with the wait - I got what I thought was a good deal at the time by buying so far in advance, my 50% payment dictated waiting till June. Plan on using the 7 day insurance to smooth over the transition, if necessary dealer will let me park old car it in their staff area until auction house collects it. Just have to sign a waiver regarding damage etc that happens whilst there - how much do I trust their staff hmmmm............. |

Yes - I'm pretty boring and have never really modded cars, always try to buy the best my money can stretch to up front! Lack of experience leaves me nervours about making changes but will see how I go with it, also saving for a wedding I think her at home will kill me if I start "wasting" flower money on my car lol

320d - wanted some toys and couldn't stretch to 330d... Got Msport+, vis, prof media, interior comfort, rear model deletion, heated seats, folding mirrors and EBT (need to connect personal and work phones at same time - didn't know about coding when ordering!!).

Congratulations.... as a fellow "undertaker" I hope you have as much fun & downright driving pleasure with your F31 as I do with mine. I love driving my "hearse" so much I had to buy the missus her own car for her golf club trips so i got more time with it!

I only chose to replace as they said they could get me in a new car for less £ per month... I said go on then sell me a car - and they did signed the finance and road tax docs today, confirmed for 10am Friday. Now the restlessness really kicks in...!!
Also finally got around to doing the maths on the deal I got, hope it's the right way to work out discount... I've compared OTR vs total credit taken out (no deposit) not as impressive as some on here but this was signed in Jan!! Discount was just over 15%. Don't think that's too bad considering I didn't pitch dealers against each other, just asked them to give me a fair price. Will try harder next time!!! (although will have to wait 37 months to get to 50% payment for VT lol) |

Good luck for Friday, hope it's nice sunny day and you get some decent driving in.
Will you miss your E91? Looks like we have same car moving to same car (baring the engine) Is your E91 Le Mans blue? |

Me too... I will miss the E91, had absolutely no plans to change it... Not caused me any bother, has been good to drive, very happy with it... But can't really turn down the offer of new car for less monthly payments!!
