@Those who have retrofitted NBT and 6NR: Did you change the VIN in the FA to NBT VIN for VO coding 6NR or did it work with car's VIN?

I would always code a retrofitted Head Unit using VIN in FA that matches VIN of Head Unit, not car.

So just to be clear. Read/activate FA, add 6NR, write the new FA to the car, then import/activate the Base64 decoded 9C FSC, and VO Code the Head Unit (HU_ENTRYNAV in my case)?

That should prevent losing the 9C FSC in the event of a later software update, right?

Seems pretty straight forward, but just confirming.

FSC Code does not need to be Base64 Decoded in newer versions of E-Sys.

I don't make any assurances for what ISTA/P will do now or in the future. Too many variables and unknowns.

I guess I meant more in terms of past experience. Of course no telling what the future may bring, but in the past adding 6NR worked to keep the 9C FSC right? Or was there another step?

Also, any idea what the Diagnostic Address for HU_ENTRYNAV is in decimal (for the FSC import and activation)?

Thank you!

Yes, but in the past, there was no HU_ENTRYNAV, and that was before 6AK replaced 6NR, so now FA Date and Option code has greater significance.

Solved: 6VB had to be deleted... Now APPS arme working incl. BMW Live, Internet & Teleservice. I also tried 6AM (RTTI) but it doesnt work. Also 6AC (Emergency Call). When 6AC is added, Bluetooth Tethering is disabled. So I think this needs a TCB... But perhaps there is another possibility to get it work with BT Data...?

Do I understand correctly that without 9C FSC code you can't get Apps to work with Bluetoothe Internet Streaming?

I don't have 6NR option, but I wanted to code it and use Apps with internet sharing from Bluetooth ( not BMW )?

I did this with BMW Live and Internet. They use mobile phone internet.
