Here are some examples of the screens, as I have noticed the small screens also look different between themselves

edited: I am still trying to find whether there are limitations and differences to the iDrive Software without the NAV.
Could it be that the iDrive screen has the plastic trim around it when you don't order the instrument cluster with enhanced functionality?
There are some pictures above that show the iDrive screen of the F20. Maybe that's a difference too?

Well it looks like it is the same with F30 without Nav there is the plastic trim around the screen. I am not sure if the plastic trim is related to the enhanced instrument cluster functionality.

If you don't get Nav they change the iDrive knob and limit the movement of the knob and put less buttons, I wonder if they also downgraded the iDrive software and limited some functions/settings.

Will xDrive be available with manual transmission?

The Q&A summary at the beginning of this thread states that xDrive will be available with manual transmission only "for some models". One of the other BMW forums more or less states as a fact in their Q&A that only the 328i xDrive will be offered with the 6-speed manual transmission, not the 335i xDrive -- which would be tragic. My BMW CA also scared me with similar information.

What factual information do we have from BMW on this topic, or are these all just rumors?

Can the wheels that hold the run-flat tires also hold regular tires, or do I need to buy new wheels when swapping tires?

You can simply unmount the runflat tires and mount regular tires. No need for different/new wheels.

There were a lot of questions regarding theft prevention, but then I saw this picture of a recent F20. I hope my F30 doesn't gets the same screen mounts, because it looks like slide&go for thief's.

From the looks of it, the screen isn't the only thing they took from that car :S

Makes me wonder what they want with it all :S

But yeah, I love the new screen but at the same time I wonder if it is not 'too much there', too much visible. For uninformed thieves it may look like some portable nav that has been placed there instead of something that is actually part of the car.

Question:

Is a black headliner available for the F30 in sportline or is that still reserved for the m-sport ?

Also, does anyone have live pictures of the sportline with the 17" style 392 rims that are the standard rims on the 320i and 320d sportline?

Thanks

There's no mentionning of that being a photo from a center console that was mugged, is there...? Because this could easily be a photo of someone opening it up for whatever other reason.

It says so on the dutch forums, 4k damage It seems very easy to do;

But even on the F10 it is like making pancakes;

But with Navi PRO, everything is on the HDD, so stealing would be more difficult.
