Wow, amazing car. Looks fantastic!

With still over a month to go until I get mine I think I'll spend most of that time drooling

How's the drive? How's the H/K?

Quick question: Are the 4 corona rings illuminated with standard headlights or are they only an option with the xenon headlights. Assuming you havnt gone for the xenon lights, would it be possible to get a picture of your headlights of how they appear without the main beam being switched on. Wondering how it looks with just the parking/daytime lights switched on...

Hi, you only get the corona rings with xenons (they're part of the visibility pack). With standard headlights you get a day time running light but it's just a halogen bulb (from what I've seen on non-xenon F30's) and not in a ring shape either... Hope that helps

Garage List
Car looks great, I love how white really shows off the rear lights.

You went for a few of the same options I did including the visibility package. I'm really sold on the adaptive lights they really do help. Not so sure on the main beam assist though - for oncoming traffic it's spot on but when following other cars at night I've had one or two times where I've had to cancel it because I can see I'm dazzling the car in front. Will be interested to hear how you get on.

Thanks buddy...

Hoping to do a spec change and get the xenons and H/K...hoping that wouldnt delay the order further. The salesman advised me earlier each time they do a spec change the delivery date is affected...

Great spec. I see you got the Adaptive M Sport suspension. Did you not consider getting the variable sports steering too? I hear they go well together.

To be honest it never really appeared on my radar, plus i never had the chance to try it on a test drive and didn't want to take the risk in case i hated it! Servotronic was good and i liked that so stuck with it.

Adaptive suspension is amazing though

Ok cheers for that.
Would you mind explaining the difference between normal sports suspension and the adaptive suspension? Does the car handle better with adaptive? Or does it simply make the car ride better and more comfortable but handles the same as sports suspension?

Hi this should help http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...ive+suspension

I find it softer and more comfortable in comfort but stiffer in sport than standard sports sus, standard sports suspension sits between the two in my opinion. The adaptive also alters it's settings as you drive depending on how much you're throwing the car about etc, where as the standard sport is the same no matter what you do.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for that. So I guess ..."stiffer in sport than standard sports sus" does translate into better handling than standard fixed sport suspension.

Cheers.
