Few pics of my 328i BSM M-Sport :)
Not sure if anyone cares, but my car literally arrived first thing this morning at the dealer so I snapped off a couple of pics.
It's Black Sapphire with coral red leather. They'd PDI'd it already apparently (quick turnaround!) but car still needs the iPhone accessory I ordered fitting first before I can pick up in a few weeks! It's going to be a difficult wait! |

Dealer is fully booked on September 1st unfortunately, so will probably have to wait till the following weekend as I'm working away in London at the moment.
Not the end of the world as I wouldn't be around to drive it during the week anyway. Put my deposit down initially in March, actually booked the order in system in May and it's arrived just now. Its been a long wait, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! |

That is a long wait!!!
Is it just me or do others think the outgoing LCI E9x M Sports look lower than the new F30's? I notice that the pre-LCI E9x sat higher than the LCI versions. I wonder if BMW deliberately make their cars 'worse' for the new model do that they have some easy gains to offer when they do a LCI? Just a (conspiracy) theory of mine.. Look at the indicators for example, out going LCI has LED, incoming F30 has normal incandescent... I am certain the LCI F30 will go to LED... You'd think car manufacturers wouldn't take a step back.

I think it probably looks a bit high because the delivery blocks had literally just been removed when I took the pictures and I'd imagine it take an hour or so before the care settled down again.
Not sure if deliberately making worse for an easy win come facelift time is it, but cutting cost on manufacture I would imagine would always be a factor especially early on it's life cycle when they think the car would sell well simply because its a "new" model? |

Sounds logical... but I'm still not convinced...! I'm just cynical.
Can't wait to see one on the road to be sure of the height thing. The stance of the LCI E9x is very nice. The side by side comparison that appeared on here with the US EBII and a LCI E90 also looked high, but then they both did.. BTW the BSM is a fantastic colour, my old E91 was BSM with lemon yellow leather and when it was clean it looked amazing.

Car looks fantastic i currently have e90 330d m sport with Saphire Black and Lemon leather love it, but bmw have very limited options to cut cost i bet , very disappointed no Hex cloth option either
