My EBII pics after 800 miles

So, it's taken me a wee while to load up some pics. Just had the 320d M Sport for over 2 weeks now, put an easy 800 mils on it, got to say it's waaaaay more comfortable than my A4 S Line that I've just waved goodbye too.

Here are a few from today, not the best quality and the weather wasn't the best, cloudy most of the time but managed a couple of sunny shots. So you get to see the car in a couple of lighting conditions.

Only mods so far are tints and a satin grille wrap, round the chrome. The wrap was cheaper than the new M Sport grilles and I was surprised at how good the finish was. Tints are 70% on fronts and 18% on rears.

I'll aim to give the car a good detail in the near future and get some shiny pics taken on a sunny day, in the mean time....these will have to do

Yeah, it sits higher than I was hoping. Can't even drop it as it's a lease car. I'm hoping it settles down after a few more miles.

Thanks for posting these. Cracking looking car.

Just out of interest (and hopfully without labouring the point) I've just been out of took some pics of my E90 front end to compare the ride height. Seems the F30 is a tad higher....

I agree with you. My mate has a 2010 MSport and it definitely sits lower than my 2012. Although, I am convinced it's settling down a bit since I got it.

Fingers crossed for more natural lowering as the miles rack up......think I'm pissing in the wind though.

No worries, its a great looking car anyway. I would doubt it will go any lower TBH - but lets hope!
I remember when I got mine new last year and it seemed as low as my previous E90 2006 330d M Sport when I picked it up, from what I remember.

It doesnt bother me that much (as a possible F30 purchaser) however, as someone mentioned in another thread, if it starts to affect body roll - than that is disappointing.

In fact, here's what mine looked like the day I picked it up. Not great pics though, but I dont think it looked any different to today.

Nice pictures Glackster, thanks for sharing.

Out of interest and if you don't mind me asking, what did the tints and grille wrap cost you?

I'd hit the limit of my car allowance before I could add sun protection glass so will have to get aftermarket. Also, like the idea of the wrap on the grille rather than buying one...

Wow, stunning shots and great car. I think I actually prefer the matte finish on the surrounds to the glossy appearance on the M-Performance grills. Congrats!

Cheers Spacebug!

I was the same with my limit on the lease car. That's why I went aftermarket for the tints and wrap. All in it was only £150.

Thanks dude

I tried the gloss wrap first and it just didn't look right, not exactly like the OEM one, but close. I'm like you, prefer the satin/matte look, now it's on.

£150 is a decent price. Will have to start looking around when I get my hands on the car.

Cheers

Maybe a bit, but not that much difference - here is my pre-LCI (going tomorrow )

Sale, Manchester. Place called Vis-Tuning. Guy called Pete does all the work.

www.vis-tuning.co.uk

There are a few minor dust particles under a couple of the windows but he's gonna fix them up free of charge as the work carries a lifetime warranty.

If you're getting in touch mention my car and the price of £150 including the grille, he should match it, as another friend called him and he quoted £180 just for his 5 windows until he mentioned my car.

I have a conspiracy theory about the Pre-LCI versions. The E90 Pre-LCI's were higher and had a slightly narrower stance than the LCI models. I think it gives BMW something to improve which looks appealing, without costing too much.

Have you all seen this post http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12613689

That is what I call a near prefect wheel/wheel arch fit. Excellent photos!
