I think they are both gorgeous but very very similar. there are some things I like better on the 4 series and visa versa. I do however think the msport f30 looks cleaner and lower to the ground (front and rear bumpers) than the msport f32. The f30 msport seems thicker and I like how the front bumper goes down around the front intercooler opening, dont know why they didnt do it for the f32. I LOVE the rear fenders of the 4. I wish the 3 had them. I think the f32 will do just fine. My next car is the grand coupe for sure.

I can see the subtle differences between the F30 and the F32. Very subtle and the average person wouldn't be able to tell but I can see them. The biggest difference is in the back and of course the side profile but I prefer the F32 overall...

This is just a 3 series coupe. They just call it 4 series to make more money. This is nothing like the original 4 series coupe.
So we will have M4 and no more M3 since the 3 series coupe appears to be replaced with 4 series? |

I noticed that too. I guess they had to do at least one thing different from the F30 interior. That and the Coral Red extends all the way to the lower half of the dash.

Marketing !! Either that or the subtle aerodynamic advantage the sleeker amd lower roofline of the 4 series may provide (reduced drag?)

I'm going to wonder who here would be the first to do a front end swap (if possible)?

I just don't understand the 3 series coupe (4 series). The E92 was so girly except the M3.
Sport sedan with 2 doors just does not work well. Looks at a proper coupe like Porsche Cayman or even the Mustang, they look so much better. |

I guess my question should go here: Is there any chance the 4-series convertible comes in x-drive?

We are talking about production lines, thousands of F32s being made. I wonder how this interior will look on a convertible, I have my doubts about it. When you are marketing a new line or new series, there have to be more changes than the leather color matching plastic dash. There is no way to defend the excessive similarity in the interiors, granted it will not stop people from buying/leasing the F32.

For every part that the 4 does not share with the 3, price goes up. It's really that simple.

If I haven't had the new 3 series...It would have been a "WoW" factor...but it doesn't provide me with that of a greater incentive to say " yes, I really want it"...does that make sense?

If they changed the badge from 3 to 4, why make the 2 cars so similar... Almost cannot tell the difference between the two apart from the number of doors and roof line... (Most people won't)
5 and 6 series make much more sense, they look different inside and outside. They are two different cars... Even e92 was much more different from e90 ... Very disappointing to see the coupe doesn't have its own personality... Obvious on these side by side photos... |
